The SuperKlean Duramix Model 8000GM-B is the most innovative steam and cold water mixing unit specifically designed to provide safe and efficient means of clean up by producing hot water instantly and economically with little or no maintenance. The DURAMIX 8000 unit operates under a wide range of steam and water pressures without changing internal components. In fact, it is one of the only steam and cold water mixing units in the industry with the ability to operate with as little as 30 PSI of water pressure. Its strategic dual output design, one at the bottom for a hose and nozzle and one at the top for hard pipe installation, provides the user with the ability to supply two individual terminals with their own hot water supply. For maximum efficiency, the second outlet can be used to feed a secondary source where hot water is needed after the primary outlet has been shut off. This feature drastically reduces energy producing costs, which is good for the bottom line, as the unit is capable of producing hot water for wash down as well as providing a secondary source of hot water for other uses 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Our unique internal design does not allow live steam to penetrate. If water pressure fails, the Duramix 8000 will automatically close the steam poppet and not allow live steam to pass through our mixing unit, thus making this unit the safest in the market.
- Best Design – Operates with as little as 30 PSI for water and steam pressure, all the way up to 150 PSI without the need to change internal components, unlike some competitors.
- Dual Output – Features a secondary outlet for additional hose connections or piping to other areas.
- Safety First – Automatic shutoff feature built into the design to prevent live steam from passing through the unit.
Plant Safety Managers worldwide rate SuperKlean’s DuraMix the safest steam unit available! - Convenience – Comes with everything necessary for immediate installation and connection to pipelines.
- Simple Maintenance – Only takes 15 minutes to complete preventive maintenance.
- Industry’s Longest Warranty — 3 years!

Operation Instructions Attention: If water pressure is higher than steam pressure, please refer to section 6 below. If steam to water ratio is more than 2:1, please refer to section 7.
- Open cold water globe valve to its full open position by turning hand wheel counter-clockwise.
- Open steam globe valve to its full open position by turning hand wheel counter-clockwise.
- When shutting down unit, steam globe valve should be shut down first by turning clockwise and then cold water globe valve can be shut down by turning clockwise. DO NOT TURN OFF COLD WATER GLOBE VALVE. BEFORE TURNING OFF STEAM GLOBE VALVE.
- Begin spraying of water by pressing on lever of nozzle. Make sure to maintain spraying during the course of output temperature adjustment of unit.
- For temperature rise, begin to slowly close temperature control hand wheel by turning it clockwise. Once you reach your desired water temperature output, you may leave the temperature control hand wheel at its current position and use globe style valves above mixing unit to shut down operation. To resume operation, simply open globe style valves to their full open position.
- If temperature output is too cold after full adjustment of temperature control hand wheel, begin to choke down water flow by slowly closing the cold water globe valve.
- If temperature output is too hot after full adjustment of temperature control hand wheel, begin to choke down steam flow by slowly closing the steam globe valve. Once desired temperature is achieved, loosen bottom lock nut by turning clockwise. Begin to tighten top lock nut cap by turning clockwise, until hand tight. Turn bottom lock nut counterclockwise until hand tight to secure lock nut cap.
- If you close the cold water globe valve significantly and water temperature output is still sporadic, please check to see if you meet and maintain the required water and steam pressure of at least 30 PSI. If problem persists, call for assistance.
