SuperKlean 8000 Series — Based on factory lookup tables and enthalpy mixing equations. Results are estimates; consult Northeast Controls for precise sizing.
Uses the blending equation: Qhot/Qtotal = (Ttarget − Tcold) / (Thot − Tcold). Assumes equal specific heats.
Hazen-Williams equation for turbulent water flow. Does not include fitting losses — add 10–20% for elbows, tees, and valves. Recommended velocity: 2–8 ft/s (0.6–2.4 m/s).
Flow equation: Q = Cv × √ΔP. Cv values are based on SuperKlean published flow tables. Actual flow may vary ±5% depending on hose length and fittings.
