Spring-driven automatic retraction keeps hoses off wet floors, reduces tripping hazards, and extends hose life. Available in powder coated steel (DR8) and electropolished 316 stainless steel (DR8S).
The DR8 is SuperKlean's workhorse hose reel — heavy-duty steel construction with a durable powder coat finish that resists corrosion and wear. Ideal for most food, beverage, and industrial washdown applications where stainless steel is not required.

1" axle with dual axle support system provides increased stability, reduced vibration, and structural integrity under heavy daily use.
Enclosed, factory-tuned cartridge-style spring motor with non-corrosive stainless steel spring, pawl, and multi-position lock ratchet mechanism.
Solid one-piece heavy gauge 1/4" base and support post. Guide arm adjusts to wall, floor, vehicle, and overhead positions for maximum installation flexibility.
Rated to 200°F (93°C) and 300 PSI — handles the full temperature and pressure range of SuperKlean hot water washdown systems.
Modern plant managers and safety crews pay close attention to keeping large, hot water hoses off the ground. Wet hoses slow floor drying and create tripping hazards. Hot water hoses dragged across concrete floors accumulate microscopic grooves that shorten their lifespan.
SuperKlean DuraReel hose reels have been used in the finest food and beverage production facilities worldwide for over 30 years — providing automatic retraction that minimizes the work required of plant personnel and keeps floors safer and drier between washdown cycles.

Standard configuration. Mounts to wall studs or structural steel. Guide arm adjusts for optimal hose routing.
Pedestal base bolts to floor or overhead structure. Ideal where wall mounting is not practical.
Undercarriage mount for mobile washdown carts and vehicles. Keeps reel protected and hose accessible.
Guide arm adjusts to wall, floor, vehicle, and overhead positions. Specify mounting option when ordering if non-standard configuration is required.

Apply thread sealant to inlet hose and connect to the swivel joint on reel.
Flush product through the system before connecting inlet hose to the supply source.
Install inlet hose into swivel assembly by hand tightening, then ½ turn with wrench. Do not over-tighten — may damage swivel.
If reel includes hose: flush product through system before connecting end fitting, nozzle, or tool.
If reel is supplied less hose: apply thread sealant to outlet hose fitting. Connect end fitting, nozzle, or tool as desired.
If hose stopper adjustment is required: latch reel at desired location, loosen the two ball stop bolts, move ball stop, tighten bolts, then unlatch reel.
Connect inlet hose to supply source.
Securely stabilize the reel.
Wind the reel drum clockwise (facing the swivel) until the spring is tight.
Back off approximately two turns and lock the reel drum to prevent rotation.
Insert the MALE fitted end of the hose through the roller guide arm and through the cutout in the side of the drum flange.
The MALE hose fitting should now be on the outside of the drum. Apply thread sealant, connect hose fitting to the swivel joint, and secure the hose with the two hose clamps.
CAREFULLY release the locking ratchet and SLOWLY allow the hose to retract onto the reel.
Step-by-step procedures for spring tension adjustment, swivel seal replacement, and spring canister replacement.
